2018 Epic Challenge Series

The ‘EPIC Challenge Series’ is our communal bucket list and you’re all invited to conquer a challenge alongside us. Here at AMI, we believe in the power of setting big, tangible goals and creating accountability to ensure those goals manifest. The EPIC Challenge Series is our invitation for you to commit to something that excites you, challenges you, and hopefully scares the shit out of you… at least a little bit. We’ve accumulated 60 adventures across North America and there’s something to entice every outdoor enthusiast.

Here’s how it works: After reviewing the EPIC options, select a challenge that best suits your goals and interests or opt to “Choose Your Own Adventure” which enables you to custom-build your EPIC challenge. Because adventures are best when shared, we highly recommend that you wrangle a crew of friends to join you! From there, you are in charge. You decide dates, coordinate logistics, obtain permits if necessary, gather equipment, and train appropriately.

On our end, we’ll do give you more than a virtual fist bump. With your purchase of an EPIC, you get:

  • Use of the AMI traveling summit flag for all those rad photo opps
  • A traveling journal to take notes, sketch, muse, and write to future participants (published online and in print)
  • 4 custom EPIC patches for your team
  • Trip report published on the AMI website outlining your experience
  • Instagram post highlighting your EPIC
  • Feature in AMI’s annually released, print magazine highlighting endeavors, writings, and photos from the courageous women in our community
  • 1 printed copy of AMI’s 2018 annually released magazine which will feature details about your challenge (released in December 2018; additional copies available for purchase in the AMI shop at time of release)

Commit to an EPIC this year and represent Adventure Mamas along the way. By supporting our organization, you enable us to develop programs, communities, and resources that support women nationwide throughout their journeys through motherhood.
